EDSIM CONSULTANTS (EC) is an expert engineering consultancy in the UK specialising in high-level FEA consulting, hand calculations, and design. Finite Element Analysis (FEA) is the core of our business. We have 15 years’ experience providing stress analysis, vibration analysis, thermal analysis, composite analysis, hand calculations, and design services through our engineering consultancy. EDSIM CONSULTANTS has delivered high-level FEA studies across many industries. We have expertise in all of the major FE and design codes, including ANSYS Workbench, ABAQUS, Patran & Nastran, SOLIDWORKS, AUTOCAD INVENTOR, CREO, MATLAB, MATHCAD, BS, EUROCODES, and ASME. EDSIM CONSULTANTS undertakes all of its designs by utilising substantiation methods, where equipment is designed to be code compliant and structurally sound from its inception. We have demonstrable expertise in the design of highly complex safety-critical mechanisms and structures. Hand calculations are our most trusted validation method, spanning from structural mechanics via vibration analysis to composite and heat transfer.
